Spring day..

Good evening all, and here we are Friday already...thanks for spending a few moments with me..

And we have a new Follower...please join in with me to welcome Janice Stone all the way from Virginia...USA...good to have you on board...and as soon as I add follow by email to my sidebar we will be able to welcome Phyllis Jachowski from Colorado U.S.A.....I am so chuffed...we are global.....yah...

Back to today, the weather has been so beautiful and sunny...Tess and Eric have had a lovely play on the fields...

So I thought I would share a card with you using the lovely Spring Day stamp set . http://www.claritystamp.co.uk/New-In/17732-/Remountable-Spring-Day-Clear-Stamp-Set---As-Seen-On-T

I started with a piece of vellum and stamped using VersaMark ink and embossed the wording with gold embossing powder...

Then I stamped the flowers using white embossing powder...

Next I added colour using Spectrum Noir pencils...I coloured on the reverse of the vellum..

This is what it looks like on the front.

I like to use brads to attach vellum...

Next some matting and layering..

I felt this was simple but beautiful...

Almost resembles parchment craft....something which is very beautiful and very clever....but also very time consuming...but well worth it in the end...

I am just sitting down now to relax and watch some tv...my bags are packed ready for workshop day tomorrow at C.J. CardCraft in Edgeley, Stockport......we are using Clarity stamps, and Aqua Tints...I will post some photos over the weekend..

I am really looking forward to tomorrow...and my little fairy friends are coming with me....

Take care all,

See you soon,

Hugs,

Jo. xxxxx

Your project using vellum is absolutely beautiful. I may have to give this a go as I've not tried it so thank you for the inspiration. XXXX
